BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION-NO. 318

DECLARING FRIDAY, 29 SEPTEMBER 2023, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MASBATE, PROVINCE OF MASBATE

WHEREAS, on 30 September 2023, Saturday, the City of Masbate, Province of Masbate will mark the celebration of its 23"? Cityhood Anniversary;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Masbate to fully participate in the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that 29 September 2023, Friday, be declared as a special (non-working) day in lieu of 30 September 2023 which falls on a Saturday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Masbate be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 29 September 2023, a special (non-working) day in the City of Masbate, Province of Masbate.
