BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 323

DECLARING TUESDAY, 12 SEPTEMBER 2023, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SIQUIJOR, PROVINCE OF SIQUIJOR

WHEREAS, on 12 September 1972, President Ferdinand E. Marcos signed Proclamation No. 1075 declaring the Municipality of Siquijor as the capital of the Province of Siquijor;

WHEREAS, on 12 September 2023, Tuesday, the Municipality of Siquijor will mark the celebration of its 51St Anniversary as the capital of the Province of Siquijor;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Siquijor be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Tuesday, 12 September 2023, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Siquijor, Province of Siquijor.
