BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 325

DECLARING FRIDAY. 27 OCTOBER 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MATI, PROVINCE OF DAVAO ORIENTAL

WHEREAS the City of Mati celebrates the Sambuokan Festival every last weekend of October in commemoration of its date of establishment as a municipality before eventually becoming a city

WHEREAS the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Mati, Davao Oriental requested that Friday. 27 October 2017, be declared as a special non-working day tn the City of Mati, in celebration of the 17” Sambuokan Festival: and

WHEREAS 6it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Mati, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Friday, 27 October 2017 as a special (non-working) day in the City of Mati.
