DECLARING FRIDAY, APRIL 25, 2003, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF ISABELA, PROVINCE OF BASILAN

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 9023 converting the Municipality of Isabela into a component city of the Province of Basilan, was signed into law on April 25, 2001;

WHEREAS, Friday, April 25, 2003, marks the 2”? Charter Day anniversary of the City of Isabela, Province of Basilan;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Isabela be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, |, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, April 25, 2003, as a special day in the City of Isabela, Province of Basilan.
