BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 342

REPEALING PROCLAMATION NO. 282 (s. 2011) DECLARING 07 MARCH 2012 TO 06 MARCH 2013 AS THE CENTENNIAL YEAR OF NATIONAL ARTIST FOR DANCE FRANCISCA REYES AQUINO

WHEREAS, the Constitution of the Philippines provides for the patronage of arts and letters by the State;

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 282 declared the period from 07 March 2012 to 06 March 2013 as the Centennial Year of National Artist for Dance Francisca Reyes Aquino; and

WHEREAS, the actual date of birth of National Artist for Dance Francisca Reyes Aquino is on 07 March 1899 and not 07 March 1912.

NOW, THEREFORE, |, BENIGNO S. AQUINO Ill, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution and existing laws, upon the recommendation of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), do hereby repeal Proclamation No. 282.
