BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 3447

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 2, 2000, AS A SPECLAL DAY IN THE CITY OF BUTUAN

WHEREAS, Wednesday, August 2, 2000, marks the 50th Foundation Day anni- versary of the City of Butuan;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of Butuan be given the opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book L Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 2, 2000, as a special day in the City of Butuan.

IN WITNESS WHEREOPF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
