• MALACANAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PNESIOEruT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. :s DECLARTNG FRIDAY, 2 SEPTEMBER 2016, AS A SPECIAL (NON- woRKtNG) DAy tN THE PROVINCE OF TFUGAO WHEREAS, on Friday, 2 September 2016, the Province of lfugao marks its Victory Day in commemoration of the surrender of General Tomoyuki Yamashita of the Japanese lmperial Army to combined Filipino and American troops in Kiangan, lfugao Province; WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of lfugao be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. NOW, THEREFORE, l, SALVADOR C.
