PROCLAMATION NO. 351

DECLARING FRIDAY, 27 OCTOBER 2023, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MATI, PROVINCE OF DAVAO ORIENTAL

WHEREAS, the City of Mati, Province of Davao Oriental celebrates the Sambuokan Festival every last weekend of October in commemoration of its date of establishment as a municipality before eventually becoming a city;

WHEREAS, to give their constituents the opportunity to participate in the activities and celebrate as one, the Office of the Mayor requested that 27 October 2023, Friday, be declared a special (non-working) day;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Mati be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 27 October 2023, a special (non-working) day in the City of Mati, Province of Davao Oriental.
