AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 807 DATED DECEMBER 18, 1961, WHICH RESERVED CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN THE GOVERNMENT CENTER RESERVATION LOCATED IN BAGUIO CITY FOR THE SITE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES BY GRANTING THE UNIVERSITY OWNERSHIP OVER THE PORTIONS IT ACTUALLY OCCUPIES

Upon recommendation of the Secretary 6f Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 807 dated December 18, 1961 which reserved certain parcels of land within the Government Center Reservation located in Baguio City by granting the University of the Philippines ownership over the portions it actually use for educational purposes, containing a total area of THIRTY FIVE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY ONE (35,381) SQUARE METERS, which are more particularly described as follows:

A PARCEL OF LAND, Lot 1, Ccs-131102-000158, being a portion of consolidated lots: Lot Nos. 1-A and 1-B, Swo-131102- 000373, Swo-40503 (Port), Parcel 2, Rel-1-000207, situated at Res. Sec. “A”, City of Baguio, Island of Luzon. Bounded on the NW., N., NW., along lines 1-2-3-5 by University of the Philippines Lot 3, Bsd- 1311 Amd.; on the NW., along line 5-6 by Ministry of Tourism Lot 104, Bsd-1311 Amd.; on the NE. along line 6-7 by Government Center Reservation Lot 4, Cad 5533-D (Lot 100 now Bsd-1311 Amd); on the SE., S., SE., SW., along lines 7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14- 15-16 by Lot 2, (Road Lot) of the Consolidation-Subdivision Plan; on the SW., along line 16-1 by Municipal Park Reservation Lot 104, Bsd-1311 Amd. This proclamation is subject to a minimum road right of way requirements of the Department of Public Works and Highways pursuant to E.O. No. 621.

The Special Patent shall be issued in favor of the University of the Philippines that will contain an annotation that the tracts of land herein reserved shall be used exclusively for educational purposes and shall not be alienated nor subject to occupation, entry, sale, lease or other disposition until again declared alienable by proclamation of the President.
