BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 355°

AUTHORIZING THE UNITED WAY PHILIPPINES, INC. TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 148 dated July 17, 1999, the United Way Philippines, Inc. (UWPI) was authorized to conduct a national fund campaign during the period trom July 17, 1999 to July 16, 2000:

WHEREAS, UWPI needs additional time to raise more funds for its laudable objectives:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRAD.A, President of the

Philippines. by virtue of the powers vested in me by law. do hereby authorize the United ts Way Philippines, Inc. to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year eee effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation. :.
