BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 355

DECLARING TUESDAY, APRIL 15, 2003, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF ROXAS, CAPIZ

WHEREAS, Tuesday, April 15, 2003 marks the death anniversary of the first President of the Republic, the late President Manuel A. Roxas;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the residents of Roxas City, his birthplace, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL- “ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, April 15, 2003 as a special day in Roxas City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
