DECLARING SATURDAY, AUGUST 26, 2000, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAS NIEVES, AGUSAN DEL NORTE

WHEREAS, the Commission on Elections has scheduled the plebiscite day for the ratification of the creation of Barangay Casiklan and the change of name of Barangay Camboayon to Barangay Eduardo G. Montilla in the Municipality of Las Nieves. Agusan del Norte on Saturday, August 26, 2000:

WHEREAS, to enable the residents of the said municipality to actively participate

in the scheduled political exercise. there is a need to declare the plebiscite dav as special dav.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the ess Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in mg by law, do hereby declare Saturday, See August 26, 2000, as a special day in the Municipality of Las Nieves, Agusan del Norte. °°
