BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 362

DECLARING THURSDAY, JULY 31, 2003 AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF MARINDUQUE

WHEREAS, Thursday, July 31, 2003, marks the 102™ Anniversary of the Battle of Paye;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of the Province of Marinduque be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their Province’s history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her-Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, July 31, 2003, as a special day in the Province of Marinduque.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and ‘caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
