DECLARING TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2000, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN GENERAL SANTOS CITY

WHEREAS, Tuesday, September 5, 2000, marks the 32nd Charter Day anniver- sary of General Santos City;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of General Santos City be given full opportunity to celebrate this event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27 of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Tuesday, September 5, 2000, as a special day in General Santos City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
