t1 '!::IV % MALACANANG Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF 1'HE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 3"' DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER "MANAGEMENT CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK" 7 TO 12~ 1992, AS WHEREAS, the Philippine Council of Managemertt (PHILCOMAN) is sponsoring the 24th Management Congress on September 10 to 11, 1992, in Manila, on the theme "Philippines, Inc. in Transition -Developmental Strategies Under the New Adminis- tration," which will be attended by management experts,practitioners, educators and students; WHEREAS, management consciousness is essential to the promotion of better business practices, increaed productivity, and improved public administration and services, which are vital prerequisites to economic development and progress; WHEREAS, there is a need to promote management conscious- ness in both the public and prilate sectors to help achieve the development goals of the nation; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDF:JJ V. RAMOS, President of thePhilippines, by virtue of the flowers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from September 7 to 12, 1992, as "Management Consciousness Week'" under the au~J?ices of the Philippine!
