DECLARING MAY 3, 2001 AS “ARAW NG PANAON” AND A SPECIAL DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PANAON, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL

WHEREAS, it is the custom of the people in the Municipality of Panaon to celebrate May 3 of every year as their “Araw ng Panaon”;

WHEREAS, a celebration should be held on the said date to commemorate this lustorical occasion in the lives of the citizens of Panaon, Misamis Occidental.

NOW, THEREFORE, 1, GLORTA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare May 3. 2001 as “Araw ng Panaon™ and a special day in the Municipality of Panaon, Province of

Misamis Occidental.
