· MALACANANG RESIDENCE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES MANILA BY THE rRRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION No. 371 DECLARING 1965 AS INTERNATIONAL COOPERA­ TION YEAR AND CREATING A NATIONAL COMMITTEE ON INTERNATIONAL COOPERA­ TION YEAR. WHEREAS, the United Nations General Assembly in a Resolution adopted in November 19fi~, had designated 1965, the twentieth year. of the United Nations, as In­ ternational Cooperation YeHr; WHEREAS, in the aforementioned Resolution member states of the United Nations are -called upon to publicize to the widest extent feasible the activities of international ~o-operation in which they have been and are at present engaged and their efforts to strengthen and expand these activities; and WHEREAS, the Philippines as a founding member of the United Nation13 has participated actively in, and contri- buted sUbstantially to, all the activities of international co-operation undertaken by the United Nations; Now, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare 1965 as International Co-operation Year an.d create a National Committee on International Co-operation Year to formulate plans and undertake proj­ ects to give substance to the General Assembly resolution to be composed of the following: The Secretary of Foreign Affairs ......................
