MALACANANG RESIDENCE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION No. 372 DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM APRIL 18 TO 24, 1965, AS ACCOUNTANCY WEEK WHEREAS, certified public accountants, by reason of the vantage position they occupy in .the field of business, finance and industry, have contributed immensely to- the progress of the national economy; and WHEREAS, it is desirable that the important role played by certified public accountants in the development of the national economy be brought to the attention of the people; . Now, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from April 18 to 24, 1965, as Accountancy Week and designate the Phil­ ippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants to take charge of its celebration.
