Proclamation No. 373, s. 1965

MALACANANG RESIDENCE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES :MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION No. 373 DECLARING THURSDAY, MARCH 18, 1965, AS A SPECIAL PUBLXC HOLIDAY IN THE PRO­ VINCES OF ILOILO, CAPIZ, AKLAN, ANTIQUE AND ROMBLON, AND IN THE CITIES OF ILOILO AND ROXAS. WHEREAS, the twentieth anniversary of the liberation of the Island of Pana,y and Romblon Province from the Imperial Japanese Forces falls on March 18, 1965; and WHEREAS, the people of the Island of Panay and Rom­ blon Province desire that they be given full opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies; Now, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Thursday, March 18, 1965, as a special '" public holiday in the provinces of Iloilo, Capiz, Aklan, Antique and Romblon, an( in the cities of Iloilo and Roxas.
