DECLARING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2000, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TACURONG, SULTAN KUDARAT.

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 8805 provides for the conversion of the Municipality of Tacurong, Sultan Kudarat, into a component city to be known

as the City of Tacurong and mandates the holding of plebiscite for the ratification thereof;

WHEREAS, the Commission on Elections, in its Resolution No. 3199 dated September 1, 2000, has scheduled the plebiscite day for the ratification of the conversion of the said municipality on Monday, September 18, 2000;

WHEREAS, to enable the residents of the said municipality to actively : participate in the scheduled political exercise, there is a need to declare the plebiscite day as special day; :

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the : Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare
