PROCLAMATION NO. 3 34

AUTHORIZING THE AGRICULTURE AND FISHERY COUNCIL FOUNDA- TION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, the Agriculture and Fishery Council Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. (AFCFPI) was established as a concrete response to the government's call for the Private sector to take an active part in the fight against rural poverty;

WHEREAS, this foundation aims to see at the end of this year a number of model development projects from pilot barangays all over the country;

WHEREAS, the Agriculture and Fishery Council Foundation of the Philippines,

Inc. needs the support of all civic-spirited citizens to enable the foundation to carry on with its laudable projects;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Agricul- ture and Fishery Council Foundation of the Philippines to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year, effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
