PROCLAMATION NO. 39

DECLARING FRIDAY, 19 AUGUST 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF DAVAO

WHEREAS, the City of Davao observes the celebration of the Kadayawan Festival in the month of August;

WHEREAS, on 19 August 2022, Friday, the City of Davao will mark the celebration of the Indigenous People’s Day in relation to the Kadayawan Festival;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Davao be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to the public health measures of the national government;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, VICTOR D. RODRIGUEZ, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 19 August 2022, a special (non-working) day in the City of Davao.
