PROCLAMATION NO. 392

DECLARING THURSDAY, JUNE 19, 2003, AS A SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CALAMBA AND PROVINCE OF LAGUNA

WHEREAS, Thursday, June 19, 2003 marks the 142™ birth anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, our national hero;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the residents of the City of Calamba, his birthplace, and the Province of Laguna, should be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies in keeping with his ideals and teachings.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, June 19, 2003, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Calamba and Province of Laguna. .

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
