BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 296

AUTHORIZING THE ALAGAD NG KASARINLAN NG BANSA FOUNDATION,

INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, the Alagad ng Kasarinlan ng Bansa Foundation, Inc., a non- stock, non-profit and non-governmental organization founded on December 9, 1998, was established to promote nationalism among Filipinos, to instill appreciation of our history and reverence for our heroes, to enhance cultural development and preserve our national heritage, and to provide support and restoration services to shrines, landmarks, parks and other sites and ,,, structures of historical importance; :

WHEREAS, there is a need for a stronger public awareness through §3°3 information dissemination about the Alagad ng Kasarinlan ng Bansa’s : existence and purposes; and

WHEREAS, in order to carry out its noble objectives, the Foundation needs the financial and moral support of the public. :°

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the «+ Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize °::: the Alagad ng Kasarinlan ng Bansa Foundation, Inc., to conduct a national information, membership and fund campaign for another period of one (1) year ‘°° effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation. vee

To ensure the success of this worthy private sector undertaking, all government agencies and its instrumentalities are hereby enjoined to Participate and support this campaign.
