,tfPW (DfO MALACAN G Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 398 DECLARING A STATE OF PUBLIC CALAMITY IN DAVAO CITY IN VIEW OF THE ADVERSE EFfECTS OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION "DELIN" ON 25 MAY 1994 IN SAID AREAS WHEREAS, the National Disaster Coordinating Council recnds the declaation of a stat& af public calamity in the City of Davao due to the damage caused by Tropical depession Deling last 25 May 1994; WHEREAS, a declaration of a state of public calamity in the aforesaid city will facilitate the provision of appropriate rehabilitation measures and assistance normally extended by concerned agencies to the concerned areas; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, P~~ident of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare a state .of public calamity in the City of Davao; All departments and other government agencies concerned are hereby directed to implement and execute relief and rehabilitation work in accordance with existing opeational plans and directives and orders issued in connection withcalamiti.es.
