DECLARING THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2000 AS A SPECIAL DAY THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY

WHEREAS, All Saints’ Day, which is a Nationwide Special Day, falls on a Wednesday, November 1, 2000;

WHEREAS, to give full opportunity to our people to properly observe the day with religious fervor, which invariably requires them to travel to different regions of the country, Thursday, November 2, 2000, may be declared as a special day without detriment to public interest;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, November 2, 2000, as a special day throughout the country.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
