DECLARING TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2001, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF PARANAQUE

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 8507 converting the Municipality of Parafiaque

into a highly-urbanized city was signed into law by former President Fidel V. Ramos on February 13, 1998;

WHEREAS, Tuesday, February 13, 2001, marks the Third Citvhood Anniversary of the City of Parafiaque;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of the City of Paratiaque be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with appropriate ceremonics.

NOW, THEREFORE, 1 GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27. of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare ‘Tuesday, February 13. 2001, asa special day in the City of Parafiaque.
