DECLARING BALINSASAYAO TWIN LAKES LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF VALENCIA, SIBULAN AND SAN _ JOSE, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL AS A PROTECTED AREA PURSUANT TO REPBULIC ACT NO. 7586 (NIPAS ACT OF 1992) AND SHALL BE KNOWN AS BALINSASAYAO TWIN LAKES NATURAL PARK
Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and pursuant to the powers vested upon me by law, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, do hereby set aside and declare the Balinsasayao Twin Lakes situated in the Municipalities of Valencia, Sibulan and San Jose, Negros Oriental under the category of Natural Park, subject to private rights, and without prejudice to the right of the indigenous peoples as provided for in R. A. No. 8371, DENR Administrative Order 93-02 and other related rules and regulations, if any, as described in DENR NIPAS Map No.

The technical descriptions of Balinsasayao Twin Lakes Natural Park shall be subject for ground verification survey.
The areas shall be under the administrative jurisdiction of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and shall be administered pursuant with the provisions of the NIPAS Act of 1992, and its implementing rules and regulations.
