BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 414 DECLARING FRIDAY, JULY 11, 2003, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF VALENZUELA ‘

WHEREAS, Friday, July 11, 2003, marks the 134" birth anniversary of the City’s most illustrious son, the late Dr. Pio Valenzuela;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of

Valenzuela, be given full opportunity to celebrate this event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, July 11, 2003 as a special (non-working) day in the City of Valenzuela.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
