BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO, 417

DECLARING MONDAY, 2 JULY 2012, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TAGBILARAN

WHEREAS, Section 107 of Republic Act No. 4660 provides the creation of the City of Tagbilaran as a Chartered City on 1 July 1966;

WHEREAS, the City of Tagbilaran marks the commemoration of its Charter Day anniversary on 1 July 2012:

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Tagbilaran participate in the occasion, the Eleventh Sangguniang Panlungsod requested that Monday, 2 July 2012, be declared as special (non-working) day instead of 1 July 2012, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tagbilaran be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, |, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO IIl, do hereby declare Monday, 2 July 2012, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Tagbilaran.
