BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 419

DECLARING 11-17 NOVEMBER 2012 AS “ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING WEEK”

WHEREAS, the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEE), will hold its 37" Annual National Convention on 11-17 November 2012 at the SMX Convention Center, Seashell Lane, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus national attention on the importance of the electrical engineering profession and highlight its role in nation-building.

NOW, THEREFORE, |, BENIGNO S. AQUINO, III, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare 11-17 November 2012 as “Electrical Engineering Week” under the auspices of the IIEE.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
