BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 42

DECLARING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2010 AS “PEOPLE MANAGEMENT MONTH”

WHEREAS, the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) will hold its 47" Annual Conference on October 13 to 15, 2010, with the theme “A NEW HORIZON”.

WHEREAS, .the conference brings thousands of human resource and pecple managers, business executives, leaders from the academe, religious and government sectors to discuss trends and issues that impact on the management and development of the country’s human capital;

WHEREAS, the conference will also feature the use of innovative approaches, highlight advocacies, and showcase inspiring case studies and latest trends in human capital management;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the month of October 2010 as “People Management Month’.
