[ Proclamation No. 420, June 13, 1989 ]

DECLARING TUESDAY, JUNE 20, 1989, AS COTABATO CITY DAY

WHEREAS, Tuesday, June 20, 1989, marks the foundation anniversary of Cotabato City; and

WHEREAS, the people of Cotabato City desire to celebrate the foundation day of their city with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, June 20, 1989, as “Cotabato City Day” in Cotabato City. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 13th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-nine.
