BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 424

DECLARING MONDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2000, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF TUGUEGARAO

WHEREAS, the City of Tuguegarao was created on December 18, 1999, by virtue of Republic Act No. 8755;

WHEREAS, Monday, December 18, 2000, marks the 1st Charter Day Anniver- sary of the City of Tuguegarao;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tuguegarao be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book L, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Monday, December 18, 2000, as a special day in the City of Tuguegarao.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
