BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 425

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 07 MARCH 2018, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE ISLAND GARDEN CITY OF SAMAL, DAVAO DEL NORTE

WHEREAS, Wednesday, 07 March 2018, marks the celebration of the 20" Founding Anniversary of the Island Garden City of Samal, Province of Davao del Norte, to be known as “Araw ng Island Garden City of Samal”: and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Island Garden City of Samal, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Wednesday, 07 March 2018, as a special (non-working) day in the Island Garden City of Samal.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
