MEN 9966 BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES

PROCLAMATION NO. 43.

AUTHORIZING THE TAHANAN OUTREACIL PROJECTS & SERVICES INC. TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 230, series of 2000, the Tahanan Outreach Projects & Services (TOPS), Inc., in order to enable it to raise sufficient funds to attain the laudable goals of mainstreaming disadvantaged children, normalizing socially maladjusted youth, hand-in-hand with his family, through innovative approaches, dynamic strategies, positive attitudes and skills, was further authorized to conduct a national educational fund campaign for the period from January 22, 2000 to January 22, 2001;

WHEREAS, Tahanan Outreach Projects & Services, Inc., as a private, non-profit organization with objectives directed to these noble ends, deserves nationwide-support;

WHEREAS, ‘Tahanan Outreach Projects & Services, Inc., needs additional time to raise funds.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, | President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Tahanan Outreach Projects and Services, Inc. to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
