BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 431

DECLARING MONDAY, 23 JULY 2012, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BOHOL AND THE CITY OF TAGBILARAN

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 7683 entitled, “An Act to Declare the 22" day of July of every year a non-working special public holiday in the Province of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran to be known as “Bohol Day;”

WHEREAS, the Province of Bohol and City of Tagbilaran mark the commemoration of the 158" Foundation Day anniversary on Sunday, 22 July 2012;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Province of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran to participate in the occasion, the Office of the Governor requested that Monday, 23 July 2012, be declared as a special (non-working) day instead of 22 July 2012, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO Ill, do hereby declare Monday, 23 July 2012, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran.
