MALACANANG RESIDENCE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION No. 432 CALLING FOR A SPECIAL ELECTION TO FILL EXISTING VACANCY IN THE MUNICIPAL DIS­ . TRICT COUNCIL OF SIGA,Y, ILOCOS SUR. WHEREAS, the Commission on Elections has certified that a vacancy exists in the Municipal District Council of Sigay, Ilocos Sur, for failure to elect the 6th councilor during the last election of November 12, 1963; Now, THEREFORE, by virtue of the authority conferred upon me by Section 21 (c) in relation to Section 22 of Republic Act No. 180, otherwise known as the Revised Election Code, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, do hereby proclaim and call a special election in the said municipal district for the purpose of electing the 6th member of the Municipal District Council of Sigay, Ilocos Sur, to serve the unexpired term of the vacancy therein; which elections shall take place on Tuesday, the ninth day of November, ninet~en hundred and sixty-five, to coincide wlith the general el'ections for President, Vice­ President, eight senators, and members of the House of Representatives. The provisions of the Revised Election Code insofar as they are applicable shall be followed in the conduct of the election herein called.
