BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES a PROCLAMATION NO. 432

AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF SOCIAL WORKERS, INC. (PASWI), TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR

WHEREAS, the Philippine Association of Social Workers, Inc., will observe its 45th year anniversary in 1994;

WHEREAS, the PASWI as the National Association of registered Social Workers wishes to enhance the profession's commitment of building a humane and just Pilipino society through its free and full exercise of economic, secial, political, and spiritual rights and responsibilities;

WHEREAS, to pursue its laudable objectives, the PASWI needs the continuous assistance of the community;

Now, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the

Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do

hereby authorize the Philippine Association of Social

Workers, Inc., to conduct a national education and

_ membership fund campaign for a period of one year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.
