DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20, 2003, AS A SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LUCENA

WHEREAS, Wednesday, August 20, 2003, marks the 42™ Charter Day anniversary of the City of Lucena;

WHEREAS, it is only proper to give the people of the City of Lucena full opportunity to commemorate the occasion with fitting ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 20, 2003, as a special (non- working) day in the City of Lucena. .

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
