fAFfJ (.;2 (D MALACANANG MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 436 AUTHORIZING THE ALAY SA KAWAL FOUNDATION, INC. TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR WHEREAS, the Alay Sa Kawai Foundation, Inc. is a non- stock, non-Profit entity organized by civilians for the purpose of extending financial assistance to families of enlisted personnel of the Armed forces of the Philippines killed or permanently incapacitated in combat; WHEREAS, the Foundation has proven to be an effective auxiliary to the Government in bringing about reconciliation and mutual respect between the civilians and the military by providing continuing financial assistance and moral boost to the soldiers and families; WHEREAS, the laudable objective of thedeserves the support of eyery civic-spirited resident of the Philippines. Foundation citizen and NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of thePhilippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Alay Sa Kawal Foundation, Inc. to conduct a nationwide membership and fund campaign for a period of oneyear effective upon the promulgation of this proclamation. For this purpose, all donations, bequests and gifts recieved by the Alay KawaI Foundation, Inc., for the implementation of its program and activities shall be entitled to all the tax exemptions and deductibility benefits provided in the appropriate provisions of the National Internal RevenueCode, a's amended, and its implementing rules and regulations.
