PROCLAMATION NO. 46

AUTHORIZING CARITAS MANILA TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, Caritas Manila has been deeply involved in the mission of helping the disadvantaged sectors of society.

WHEREAS, Caritas Manila needs the full support of all sectors to enable to raise funds for the programs and services for the underprivileged to be implemented in the six Ecclesiastical Districts of the Archdiocese of Manila.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Caritas Manila to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year, effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
