PROCLAMATION NO, 46

DECLARING THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DINGLE, PROVINCE OF ILOILO

WHEREAS, the First Battle Cry of Revolution against Spain in the Province of lloilo and Panay known as the “Cry of Lincud” happened on October 28, 1898 in the Municipality of Dingle, Province of Iloilo;

WHEREAS, to commemorate this historical event, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Dingle, Province of Iloilo, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, !, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO Ill, do hereby declare Thursday, October 28, 2010, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Dingle. Province of lloilo.
