TRIAS DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GENERAL TRIAS, PROVINCE OF CAVITE WHEREAS, Thursday, October 12,1989 marks the birth anniversary of the late General Mariano Trias y Closas; ! ., ! WHEREAS, the bravery, heroism and patriotism of General Trias .: are worthy of emulation by all Filipinos; WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that at least the people of his birth place be afforded the opportunity to celebrate his birthday with appropriate ceremonies. NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the :",}, Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby !;ii~ declare Thursday, October 12, 1989, as "General Mariano C. Trias Day" ~",; in the Municipality of General Trias, Province of Cavite.
