BY THE PRESIDENT OF. THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION No. 479

DECLARING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 1965, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY

WHEREAS, paying homage to the dead on All Saints’ Day is one of our cherished traditions; and ;

WHEREAS, in keeping with that tradition, the people should be given full opportunity to observe the day with all its religious fervor;

Now, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of _the Philippines, by, virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby “declare Monday, November 1, 1965, as a special public ‘holiday.
