BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 481

DECLARING TUESDAY, 08 MAY 2018, AS A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARAGONDON, PROVINCE OF CAVITE

WHEREAS, on Tuesday, 08 May 2018, the Municipality of Maragondon, Cavite, will mark the commemoration of the founding date of the Liberators Guerrilla;

WHEREAS, on 08 May 1942, Patrocinio Z. Gulapa established an organization which later became known as the Liberators Guerrilla in Maragondon, Cavite, on 08 May 1942;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Municipality of Maragondon, Cavite, to celebrate the occasion, the Sangguniang Bayan of Maragondon requested that Tuesday, 08 May 2018, be declared as a special working holiday; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Maragondon, Cavite, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, |, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO R. DUTERTE, do hereby declare Tuesday, 08 May 2018, as a special working holiday in the Municipality of Maragondon, Province of Cavite.
