THE PROVINCE OF BOHOL AND THE CITY OF TAGBILARAN '=, WHEREAS, the late President Carlos P. Garcia, an illustrious son of the Province of Bohol who distinguished, himself as a statesman and dedicated most of his life to ;the service of his country, was born on November 4, 1896; WHEREAS, the people of the Province of Bohol andthe City of Tagbilaran should be given full opportunity to perpetuate and honor his memory with appropriate ceremonies on his natal day; NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby dclare Saturday, November 4, 1989, as a special day in the Province of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
