ING THE EXISTENCE OF A STATE OF CALAMITY IN METRO MANILA AND THE PROVINCES OF AURORA, QUEZON, LAGUNA, JATANGAS, RIZAL, CAVITE, BULACAN, BATAAN, ORIENTAL AND ICCIDENTAL MINDORO, ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY TYPHOON ATRING

WHEREAS, according to the Secretary of National Defense hairman of the National Disaster Coordinating Council , Metro Manila and the provinces of Aurora, Quezon, , Batangas, Rizal, Cavite, Bulacan, Bataan, Oriental Occidental Mindoro, incurred various levels of ction on crops and properties as well as extensive es to infrastructure due to typhoon "Katring";

WHEREAS, there is an urgent need for the declaration of ate of public calamity in said areas to normalize the tion and hasten the rehabilitation efforts of the rned government agencies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the ppines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do y declare the existence of a state of public calamity tro Manila and the provinces of Aurora, Quezon, Laguna, ingas, Rizal, Cavite, Bulacan, Bataan, Oriental and idental Mindoro.
