PROCLAMATION NO. 491

DECLARING FRIDAY, 22 MARCH 2024, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BALIWAG, PROVINCE OF BULACAN

WHEREAS, on 22 March 2024, Friday, the City of Baliwag, Province of Bulacan, will mark the celebration of the 161* birth anniversary of Mariano Ponce;

WHEREAS, Mariano Ponce, a native of Baliwag, Bulacan, was a prominent member of the propaganda movement and one of the leading figures in the Philippine reform movement during the Spanish colonization;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Baliwag be given full. opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 22 March 2024, a special (non-working) day in the City of Baliwag, Province of Bulacan.
