WHEREAS, it is desirahle to inculcate in the minds

F our people the importance of investing their savings

in banks wd in utilizing the services of banks and thus ctively participate in economic development;

NOW, DHOREFORE, I, FERDIWAND BE. MARCOS, President f the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in tie by law, do hereby declare the period from July 17 to 23, 1966, as National Banking Week.
